She serves as Vice-President of the Georgia Council of International Visitor's International Women's Association, is a member of the Protocol & Diplomacy International-Protocol Officers Association and the World Affairs Council of Atlanta, and serves on several for profit and non-profit boards.

Dr. April Ripley is an Executive Trustee of The International Third World Leadership Association (ITWLA), chaired by the late Dr. Myles Munroe. She holds diplomatic status with the United Nations (UN) through Word of Life Ministries International (WOLMI) and serves as WOLMI's Main Representative to the UN at Geneva, the Director-General of International Affairs and Chief of Protocol, and an UN Peace Ambassador for the organization. Dr. Ripley has been recognized for her local and international humanitarian work, and awarded the United States President’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
